Wohr launches UK’s first BIM models for parking systems

Wohr Parking Systems, the UK’s leading supplier of mechanical and automatic parking solutions, has developed a set of BIM models for its high-quality parking systems, enabling architects and planners to insert full details into 3D building models.

The first such models to be available in the UK, each of the BIM drawings comes complete with parameters which can display all possible configurations, is fully scalable without the need to enter any additional data and contains a useful vehicle profile for performing collision checks. Planners can also easily view the parking system’s technical data in the BIM model.

Commenting on the launch of this invaluable design tool, Andrew Smith, Wohr’s Managing Director, said: “We have worked closely with customers to develop BIM models that will add real value to their design work. The first release covers our most popular models, with further releases planned over the coming months for more of our systems. The 3D BIM models, as well as a complete set of 2D drawings, are all now available for download from our web site.”
