Building Additions, the UK’s leading supplier of partition systems, moveable walls and folding doors, is to launch a new range of timber folding doors at this year’s Homebuilding and Renovating exhibition in March.

The new Sovereign and Georgian ranges have been designed to provide elegant and durable folding doors of the highest quality for almost all applications. The Sovereign range provides a solid timber finish whilst the Georgian range features stylish glass infill panels. Building Additions’ Managing Director, Andy Ferris explains: “For many years, folding doors have provided a great solution for areas where space is confined, allowing doors to be fitted without encroaching on the floor area. However, until now the product hasn’t been available in traditional timber and so very often aesthetics have had to be compromised.

“The launch of the Sovereign and Georgian ranges solves this problem. Manufactured from high quality materials, both ranges are available in a number of finishes to meet all design and performance requirements. The doors are perfect for a host of applications, from houses and apartments to offices and schools, delivering long-lasting, low maintenance performance and creating additional space which would ordinarily be lost to a traditional door”.

Both Sovereign and Georgian doors are available as standard in three finishes, Oak, Beech and White and are suitable for any opening up to 2.44m high. The sleek design is reflected not only in the doors themselves but also in the quality furniture and frames – ensuring effortless performance.

Backed by a comprehensive five year guarantee, each door is made to measure to produce a perfect fit and is manufactured by Building Additions’ team of craftsmen. Installation is then fast and straightforward for contractors and DIY enthusiasts alike.
