Invensys Rail has announced the appointment of two Delivery Directors, with David Attmere and Mark Ferrer being promoted to the newly created positions

David has been appointed Delivery Director for the company’s new Wales, West and London Region. Taking full responsibility for the company’s project activities in this region, he brings over 19 years’ industry experience to the role. Most recently within Invensys Rail, David was Senior Project Manager for the Reading Remodelling Project and he will retain responsibility for this important programme in this new role – in addition to other projects in the portfolio.

Taking the role of Delivery Director for New Technology & ETCS, Mark brings over 23 years’ project delivery experience in the rail industry and his role will include full responsibility for the delivery of the company’s Thameslink project activities, as well as for other ETCS projects within the UK. Most recently, Mark has been Head of Engineering for Invensys Rail Northern Europe, as well as Acting Delivery Director for the company’s Midlands Region project portfolio.

Commenting on these appointments, Invensys Rail’s VP Commercial, Will Wilson said: “With a wealth of proven project management and engineering experience, I’m delighted that David and Mark are to take responsibility for these two important areas of our business”.
